PLATYLOBIUM

Design Stages: Our Unique Design Process

1. On site meeting: It is essential prior to preparing a proposal that we meet on site to discuss your ideas, timeframes and the type of landscape plan that my suit your needs. From here a fee proposal can be prepared.

2. Preparation of Base Plan and Site Assessment: Once the fee proposal has been approved the designer will prepare the base plan and book a time to come out on site and undertake a detailed site assessment and take you through any further information and design ideas that you might have.

3. Concept plan development: Following the site assessment the designer can go away and prepare a concept plan that provides an overall layout of hard landscaping, planting zones and a list of hard landscape materials plus suggested species will also be provided at this stage.

4. Detailed landscape plan: Once all the details of the concept plan are finalised you may have selected to have a detailed landscape plan prepared. This stage will include planting design and final drawings of the proposed landscape which are provided in an A1 colour plan for approval.

5. Project costings: Upon approval of finalised plans you may opt for our associated construction team to provide costing estimates for part or all of the proposed landscaping.

6. Implementation and Maintenance: This is where your beautiful garden takes shape and you reap the rewards of an indigenous or native garden.

“Nadia offered a professional and friendly approach to providing expert advice to our landscape brief. Her knowledge of indigenous and native plants along with her willingness to research edible plants contributed to both a well designed and functional half-acre landscape design. We highly recommend Nadia for those seeking an experienced, efficient and creative landscape designer.”

JASON AND SARAH, WARRANDYTE

“Platylobium achieved a wonderful garden design for our kindergarten. Nadia was able to adapt easily to our moving feast of ideas, balancing the design to meet our needs. The end result has been a wonderful design, incorporating the existing structures with the new! Creating a more sustainable garden that will stimulate our kinder kids.”
